Hi, I’m Vincent! Welcome to my little corner of the internet – I’m thrilled you found it and hope it becomes a treasure for you too:) If you’ve landed here from one of my blogs or posts, you’re probably curious about the person behind the words.
Born and raised in China, now living in the US. I am or let’s say, on the way to becoming a marketing strategist, though it’s been a winding journey.
My academic journey kicked off with Business Studies in China, followed by an exchange program in Germany where I met my boyfriend (now husband). I found a way to join him in the US while pursuing marketing degrees across the globe – from France, to Germany, to the US, and back again. Looking back, it is incredible to see I actually fought my way to make this international journey happen, from being too timid to travel abroad alone to now having lived in so many countries and experienced multiple cultures.
Now with my US work permit, I’m actively seeking a marketing role where I can bring my strategic thoughts and ideas to the table. Job hunting can be stressful, so this website serves as my creative outlet – a place to share, explore, and have fun.
If you ask me about my goals, who knows? Whether I end up in a corporate office or become a professional blogger, what matters most is that I never stop exploring. To me, life without exploration is merely existence.
I’m a bit of a tech geek – I love tinkering with computers, smartphones, and AI tools like ChatGPT. Little story: I figured out how to flash my previous Huawei phone to access Google services within 1 day before studying abroad.
At heart, I’m a storyteller. Sharing my experiences and insights is the primary reason I created this website. If even one person benefits from my life stories or restaurant recommendations, I’d consider that a win. Photography is another passion of mine; I may not have a professional camera, but I believe it’s the thought that counts. When I’m not working or writing, you’ll likely find me hiking and capturing the beauty of nature.
As a member of the LGBT community, my journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s shaped me into someone who deeply understands the predicament of the minority. I’m committed to supporting the LGBT community and advocating for inclusivity.
